Unscripted: How Bet9ja Ruined My Life Yet I Still Spend All My Money On It… Habeeb Needs Your Advice
I got this in my mail from Habeeb this afternoon and he has asked me to share his story with you for your advice. Habeeb is a chronic gambler and wants you to help him stop. Kindly read his story below as sent to me.
PS: Ignore the blunders, just advise him.
I wanna explain some things 2 you.. it all started at my secondary school life when i first knew about gambling but i didn’t take it seriously. By the time i finished secondary school, i was already becoming addicted but kinda cautioned myself. There was nothing like bet9ja then but now i want to tell you how bet9ja spoilt my life not allowing me to graduate with my mates now..
At first i never knew how to play it but one of my street Niccurs taught me, Hammed by name taught me how to play it… So i finally got to know how to play the shit called bet9ja..
Then i entered polytechnic.. Ojere then my 1st year i paid my fees when i was given the money. Then i realized i am already addicted to the shit and any little money i see nah bet9ja.
When I enter ND 2, them give me school fees nah him i reason say make i go bet9ja go double the money.. omo i no fit cry when dem chop all the moni and i no get alternative 2 get the moni back as sharp guy i no say or talk anything for house… ever since then any small money i see nah bet9ja i dey go.
Till now any money i see nah bet9ja i dey go and i no dey chop money dem dey always chop me.
1st semester pass i no do exam but still dey form students for house doing like i did exams. Holiday come, i go house nobody knows except my guy prince and he no cast me ..nah him diz 2nd semester don wan finsh like diz like 2 weeks 2 end nah him where i dey stay for abk person just go my school do research about me nah him my HOD tell the person all about me say i no reg this semester @ all nah him dem call house tell my momsi for my back… so momsi come dey para for me say she go tell my pman and my pman strict die if she tell him i don die coz i don collect money for project wey i no dey do for house..but momsi still wan cover me for my popsi.. so what i wan you guys to do for me is post my story 2 Nigerians and dae should see how bet9ja wanna spoill my future and my life.. My mate are going to graduate this year now i dont know what i am going to do either to quit Ojere (mapoly) or go back 2 do jamb..and again i wanna ask Nigerians what i can do that can make me not play bet9ja again coz now any moni i see nah bet9ja ooh..plz i need Nigeria advise…. A hyper-aggressive fish has left many amazed during a ferocious fight as many have compared the fish with a woman’s private part.
An awkward fish which many feel looks like a woman’s private part has elicited concern after footage emerged online.
During an incredible fight between two bizarre carnivorous fish of the same species known as the sarcastic fringehead, many compared its inflated mouths to the woman’s v*gina.
The alien-like creature has an enormous head atop their slender bodies, which the hyper-aggressive fish uses to defend its territory.
When challenged by an opponent, the sarcastic fringehead is able to expand its mouth – creating a nightmarish alien-like orifice that looks like something straight out of a horror movie.
BBC film crews captured this incredible interaction between two fringeheads during David Attenborough’s recent Life television series.
The two predators compete by pressing their mouths against each other – like a horrifying kiss – in order to determine which of the two fish is the larger animal.

“It is a non-standard use of the term ‘sarcastic’, that refers back to the word’s origin – sarcasm is derived from the Greek word ’sarkazo’, meaning ‘to tear flesh’,” another person added.
The creature was thought to be an eel goby, although researchers were not able to provide confirmation.

Awwww 10 Things Your Mother Never Told You…This Might Leave You In Tears
Mothers are renowned to be the most selfless and most loving set of people the world has ever known and there are certain things they have done for you that they didn’t even let you know.
Pregnant.
There it was, clear as day, two blue lines staring back at me from the small pregnancy test I had just purchased.
I double checked…
One line = not pregnant.
Two lines = pregnant.
Yup, I was definitely pregnant.
My heart was pounding.
My head was spinning.
My stomach was churning.
I was nervous, excited, scared and ecstatic all at the same time.
This was actually happening! After years of dreaming, preparing for and anticipating this day, it was finally here. I was going to be a mother.
Little did I know that in nine short months, I would begin the most exhausting, life-changing, heart-wrenching, but indescribably rewarding journey of my life.
In nine months, I would learn the price of motherhood firsthand. I would know exactly what it takes to be a mother. I would gain a whole new understanding of and gratitude for the beautiful woman I call Mom.
I would learn about things mothers experience that their children often know very little about.
Here are 10 things your mom never told you.
1. You made her cry… a lot.
She cried when she found out she was pregnant. She cried as she gave birth to you. She cried when she first held you. She cried with happiness. She cried with fear. She cried with worry. She cried because she feels so deeply for you. She felt your pain and your happiness and she shared it with you, whether you realized it or not.
2. She wanted that last piece of pie.
But when she saw you look at it with those big eyes and lick your mouth with that tiny tongue, she couldn’t eat it. She knew it would make her much happier to see your little tummy be filled than hers.
3. It hurt.
When you pulled her hair, it hurt; when you grabbed her with those sharp fingernails that were impossible to cut, it hurt; when you bit her while drinking milk, that hurt, too. You bruised her ribs when you kicked her from her belly; you stretched her stomach out for nine months; you made her body contract in agonizing pain as you entered this world.
4. She was always afraid.
From the moment you were conceived, she did all in her power to protect you. She became your mama bear. She was that lady who wanted to say no when the little girl next door asked to hold you, and who cringed when she did, because in her mind no one could keep you as safe as she herself could. Her heart skipped two beats with your first steps. She stayed up late to make sure you got home safe, and woke up early to see you off to school. With every stubbed toe and little stumble, she was close by; she was ready to snatch you up with every bad dream or late night fever. She was there to make sure you were OK.
5. She knows she’s not perfect.
She is her own worst critic. She knows all her flaws and sometimes hates herself for them. She is hardest on herself when it comes to you, though. She wanted to be the perfect mom, to do nothing wrong — but because she is human, she made mistakes. She is probably still trying to forgive herself for them. She wishes with her whole heart that she could go back in time and do things differently, but she can’t, so be kind to her, and know she did the best she knew how to do.
6. She watched you as you slept.
There were nights when she was up ’til 3:00 a.m. praying that you would finally fall asleep. She could hardly keep her eyes open as she sang to you, and she would beg you to “please, please fall asleep.” Then, when you finally fell asleep, she would lay you down and all her tiredness would disappear for a short second as she sat by your bedside looking down at your perfect cherub face, experiencing more love than she knew was possible, despite her worn-out arms and aching eyes.
7. She carried you a lot longer than nine months.
You needed her to. So she did. She would learn to hold you while she cleaned; she would learn to hold you while she ate; she would even hold you while she slept, because it was the only way she could sometimes. Her arms would get tired, her back would hurt, but she held you still because you wanted to be close to her. She snuggled you, loved you, kissed you and played with you. You felt safe in her arms; you were happy in her arms; you knew you were loved in her arms, so she held you, as often and as long as you needed.
8. It broke her heart every time you cried.
There was no sound as sad as your cries, or sight as horrible as the tears streaming down your perfect face. She did all in her power to stop you from crying, and when she couldn’t stop your tears, her heart would shatter into a million little pieces.
9. She put you first.
She went without food, without showers and without sleep. She always put your needs before her own. She would spend all day meeting your needs, and by the end of the day, she would have no energy left for herself. But the next day, she would wake up and do it all over again, because you meant that much to her.
10. She would do it all again.
Being a mom is one of the hardest jobs anyone can do, and it will take you to your very limits sometimes. You cry, you hurt, you try, you fail, you work and you learn. But, you also experience more joy that you thought was possible and feel more love than your heart can contain. Despite all the pain, grief, late nights and early mornings you put your mom through, she would do it all again for you because you are worth it to her. So, next time you see her, tell your mom thank you; let her know that you love her. She can never hear it too many times.

Brutal… Policemen Allegedly Beat Guy To Death For Not Agreeing to a Crime He Did not Commit in Nasarawa
King Abel Umoru was allegedly murdered by Policemen of Abacha Road Nasarawa State.
Sister of the deceased, reached out to us to help make what she tagged as “Injustice” go viral.
All she wants is Justice for her brother who was allegedly beaten to death by some Policemen attached to Abacha road in Nasarawa State.
The sister says Abel went for a friend’s birthday party on the 2nd of October which was on a Sunday.. When around 9 p.m a serious fight broke out at the party..So the manager of the place used for the event called Policemen from Abacha Road..On the arrival of the policemen, Abel decided to leave the place to avoid any issues…but he was arrested by the police folks.
Abel felt the need to know what his offense was, on asking, the policemen descended on him and start beating him thoroughly for no reason. Abel pleaded with the policemen that he wasn’t among those who fought..but his pleas fell on deaf ears.
Apparently, the policemen continued with the beating and asked Abel to just accept and agree that he was among those who fought and destroyed stuffs at the even…He didn’t agree…So they beat him to death.
The next day, Monday, October 3rd of October, they dumped his body in the mortuary.

He went for a friend’s birthday party so as of 9pm, still at the party some people started fighting, so the manager called the police from Abacha road nasarawa state so he decided to live the place on his way living the the police came and arrested him, so he started asking what is his offence they started beating him, he was begging them that he is not among those that fought ooo, but the police kept beating him that he should agree so they beat him to death.
On Sunday 2 of October so the next day which is Monday the police went and dump him in the mortuary.

Laurent Koscielny ensured Arsene Wenger marked his 20-year anniversary at Arsenal with a victory as he scored a controversial late winner to beat Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor.
A resilient display from Burnley was undone in the final minute of stoppage time as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Koscielny fumbled the ball over the line – despite the latter appearing to handle while also being in an offside position.
Chances were at a premium on Sunday, a day after Wenger brought up his two-decade landmark in the Gunners’ hotseat, with Alexis Sanchez wasting the visitors’ best chances.
Sanchez and Walcott dragged early chances wide in a cagey first half and Burnley should have gone in ahead, but Sam Vokes headed a glorious opening wide.
Another Sanchez effort clipped the Burnley post, before Michael Keane was denied by the crossbar at the other end as both sides pushed for victory.
But Arsenal snatched victory as Burnley appeals against Koscielny were waved away, the France international claiming all three points with his first goal of the season.

Leroy Fer gave the Swans an early lead but the visitors came from behind to make it five wins in a row in all competitions, thanks to goals from Roberto Firmino and the Englishman
James Milner netted a late penalty as Liverpool came from behind to beat Swansea City 2-1 and pose further questions over Francesco Guidolin’s future at the Liberty Stadium.
Leroy Fer’s fourth Premier League goal of the season put the Swans, whose last home win came against Liverpool in May, ahead in the eighth minute.
Liverpool lost Adam Lallana to a groin injury during a first half in which they failed to register a shot on target, a far cry from the 5-1 win over Hull City last time out.
But Jurgen Klopp’s side quickly addressed that in the second half, as Roberto Firmino headed them level.
And Guidolin, who has not tasted victory in the league since the opening-day win over Burnley, was left empty-handed again when shambolic defending led to Angel Rangel fouling Firmino in the box, Milner scoring his fourth spot-kick of the campaign.
Mike van der Hoorn had the chance to equalise deep in stoppage time but volleyed horribly wide from five yards out.
